Time is one of the rarest raw materials in fashion. The seasons are closely timed, which is why after the collection always means before the (next) collection. The founder and creative director of Allude reveals here which watches will support Andrea Karg in this creative marathon:
“Shoes and watches are my favorite accessories, yes, watches are absolutely my thing. A sporty Rolex like the Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust, for example, was one of the first women's watches to be certified as a chronometer. But preferably in stainless steel, I'm not really a 'golden person', I like something a little more striking and robust.
And I also really like Patek Philippe, they have such a timeless design, there is so much love in every detail and you can almost feel the tradition of the Stern family behind them when you wear them. For example with the Nautilus line, a model series that I particularly like with its architectural angularity.
Building and maintaining legendary brands like these two companies have managed to do is also my goal with Allude. And we work hard on that every day.”
