Sustainability and environmental protection have been firmly rooted in our company philosophy from the very beginning. This is inherent in the nature of the product: cashmere is durable and value-retaining, as well as environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

A quality standard that goes hand in hand with resource-saving production and responsibility for our planet. For a better and greener future.

At Allude, we want to make the world a little better every day, and that's why we try to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. We are implementing various projects to work more sustainably.

Shipping
Allude uses the sustainable service provider UPS for all B2B and B2C shipments. Furthermore, the CO2 emissions of every B2C order are fully offset and stored for thousands of years through our "Carbon Capture" program.

How it works:
For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to CO2 removal companies verified by scientists from Carbon Direct. These companies use this money to eliminate the CO2 emissions caused by our deliveries. All additional funds go towards the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Heirloom
Heirloom's Direct-Air-Capture technology improves the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology accelerates the rate at which naturally occurring minerals capture CO₂, instead of using energy-intensive fans to draw in air. more info

Reforestation
Every purchase in our shop leads to the planting of mangrove trees in Madagascar. We donate a percentage of each purchase to tree planting because reforestation efforts restore natural habitats, improve coral reef health, support local livelihoods, and help fight climate change by sequestering CO2 from the air.

The trees are planted by Eden Reforestation Projects in collaboration with thegoodapi.com. For more information on these projects, you are welcome to learn more about these exciting projects.

Packaging
Allude offers sustainable packaging solutions and uses biodegradable polybags made from recycled plastic. Packaging bags are made from 100% recycled paper.

All cardboard boxes are made from 100% recycled material. We only print on recycled paper from Evercopy (Prestige 80 g). Whenever possible, all prints are double-sided.

Upcycling/Recycling
In the Allude Cashmere Clinic, cashmere items are repaired and given new life – a sustainability strategy that increases the durability of knitwear garments and extends their wearing time.

Allude donates used printer cartridges to Recycling4smile, a program of the charity RED-NOSES International. Only reusable glass bottles are used in the company.

Mobility/Energy
At Allude Headquarter, in the stores, and in the Cashmere Clinic, 100% green electricity and 100% green gas are used.
