My first fashion memory:
Brown sandals that my mother used to bring me from Italy. Super stylish - but unfortunately they were considered "girls' shoes" at school.
I would describe my style like this:
Classic, but implemented in a modern way.
My styling trick is:
Invest in some statement pieces! You can perfectly combine basics with it and always look casual.
The most important rule in my own style guide:
Men shouldn't wear crazy shoes.
My favorite trend in summer and winter:
I like mint tones in summer and think it's radically right that winter should go for black.
And this is how I would wear these trends:
Mint only works in minimal doses for men. I haven't gone all black in a long time, but I'm looking forward to it.
My favorite piece from the Allude Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 collection:
Definitely the off-white looks, especially the chiffon skirt with graphic appliqués. Very modern and (!) wearable.
Best style advice I've ever received:
"Never follow fashion!" (Carine Roitfeld)
As a stylist/fashion editor, I couldn't live without:
Guess what? The fashion of course!
My style icon:
Hedi Slimane.
The top 3 websites in my browser bookmarks:
Those pages of our special, which will be going to press soon.
A song that always makes me dance immediately:
Basically, I don't dance.
