Repair Duration
The repair of your item depends on the current workload. Currently, repairs can take approximately 5 - 7 weeks. A cleaning takes about 3 weeks.
Hygiene Measures
For hygiene reasons, all items that come to the Cashmere Clinic are cleaned, which is why we charge a standard cleaning fee for all services.
Incorrect Repair Booking
Every cashmere item that comes to the Cashmere Clinic is examined and compared with the placed order. Should the repair you booked not match ours, we will contact you. The cost difference can then be settled by you. If you then do not wish to proceed with the repair, we will refund the amount paid.
Do you also repair items from other brands?
Yes, we also repair knitted cashmere items from other brands. Please ensure that the item consists of at least 30% cashmere.
Can I also send items from Switzerland or non-EU countries?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer our service to countries outside the EU. We hope to be able to change this in the future.

To the care instructions
General Terms and Conditions
The cleaning of the textiles entrusted to us is carried out professionally in accordance with the care instructions of the manufacturers of the items to be cleaned. Should different care options be possible according to the manufacturer's care labeling, we will choose the care method that seems most suitable for the type of soiling.
The manufacturer is liable for damage caused by incorrect care labeling. If there is no care label from the manufacturer on the item to be cleaned, the customer must inform us. The cleaning still desired by the customer is then carried out at their own risk. If we are unable to provide certain services, we will refer them to another specialist company. In this case, we only provide the referral as a service and are only responsible for this referral. The specialist company commissioned by us is liable for claims in this context.
Customer Obligations
When handing over the item to be cleaned, the customer must point out any special features that need to be observed during cleaning (e.g., damage, stains, type of soiling). The customer is obliged to inform us about the value of the item to be cleaned if it exceeds €500. The customer must remove all items from the item to be cleaned before handing it over to us, especially valuables, ballpoint pens, cosmetic articles (e.g., lipstick), and paper. The customer, in whose clothing the causative items were found, is liable for damage to the customer's item to be cleaned and to the item to be cleaned of third parties caused by the presence of such or similar items.
Defects in the Delivered Item to be Cleaned
The customer is obliged to check the item to be cleaned upon return for obvious damage and proper cleaning and to report any damage or improper cleaning within 14 days of collection/delivery. Later complaints are excluded. Clothing that has already been worn again cannot be complained about. The customer is obliged to report any mix-up of the item to be cleaned with the item to be cleaned of a third party immediately.
If the customer does not report defects, damage, or a mix-up upon return of the item to be cleaned, they must prove, by presenting the collection slip or otherwise, that the item to be cleaned was from us and has not been mixed up, cleaned, or otherwise processed and/or damaged by a third party in the meantime.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, we are only liable if essential contractual obligations have been violated.
Liability is limited to the typical and foreseeable damage for the contract. Liability for indirect and unforeseeable damages (hidden defects) is excluded. Any further liability is excluded regardless of the legal nature of the asserted claim.
The claim for damages includes the replacement value. This is the value of the replacement purchase minus a percentage depreciation of the item to be cleaned due to use and time.
Return of the Item to be Cleaned
The item to be cleaned is returned upon presentation of the collection slip. Otherwise, the customer must prove their authorization. Collection must take place within three months of the agreed delivery date. After this period, we are no longer liable.
Regardless of this, the item to be cleaned will be stored for one year. In the period after the third month until the end of one year, we are only liable if the customer can unequivocally prove fault on the part of the cleaner. After one year, we are entitled to legally dispose of the item, unless the client reports before disposal. As a rule, the item to be cleaned is given free of charge to charitable organizations.
Defects in the Delivered Item to be Cleaned
We are not responsible for damage caused by the nature of the item to be cleaned that cannot be recognized by a simple professional inspection. This includes, among other things, damage due to insufficient strength of the fabric and seams, insufficient colorfastness of colors and prints, insufficient fastening or quality of buttons, buckles and zippers, shrinkage, impregnations, previous improper treatment, hidden foreign bodies, and other hidden defects.
