Sinfully delicious: The Allude Florentines (recipe)

Cookies are a girl's best friend , right? That's why we send out a small number of wonderfully nostalgic preserving jars every year during Advent, filled to the brim with what the recipients say is the tastiest Florentines ever. Since space in our kitchen is unfortunately very limited, this year we want to share Creative Director Andrea Karg's secret recipe with all of you. So that you, dear cashmeristas, and your family and friends can also enjoy these irresistible delicacies. Enough of the preamble and get to the mixing bowls!

Florentine à l'Allude

for about 16 Florentines

  • 100 grams of butter
  • 125 grams of cream
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 200 g almonds, sliced
  • 50 g dried cranberries, chopped
  • 50 g candied orange zest, chopped
  • 200 g (milk, dark or white) chocolate

Here's how: First, melt the butter together with the sugar and honey in a saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly. Then gradually add the cream and keep stirring. Add the almonds, cranberries and orange zest. Stir well again and let cool. Then place heaped tablespoons of the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake on the top shelf at 170 °C for 8 to 10 minutes. After baking, use your fingers to shape the slightly cooled Florentines back into shape – and finally dip the cold Florentines in the melted chocolate of your choice. An incredibly delicious gift for family, friends and for you.
