17 September 2016 has been “blocked” in countless calendars for months. Regardless of whether planning is in Frankfurt or Florence, in Hamburg or Helsinki, in Osaka or Osnabrück. Some write down a W for Wiesn or the abbreviation OF for Oktoberfest, very discreet natures simply assign "Other" as the Outlook category for this "away from home". In short: What once began as a Munich curiosity, in strange costumes and with original dishes, has long been established as a society must. It doesn't matter whether you're a celebrity, privateer or "normal". Do mias ma hi!
A look at the Theresienwiese is also worthwhile when it comes to fashion, the creativity of the designers for dirndls, jackets and accessories are almost limitless.
Thanks to its versatile properties, cashmere is ideal for an event that takes place in crowded marquees as well as outdoors. Pleasantly light and yet warm when it matters most. For example on a cool evening and to avoid the notorious Wiesn flu.
That's what Andrea Karg thought too. She and her team designed a capsule collection for the Oktoberfest , so to speak, as an extra treat for the autumn/winter 2016/2017 season.
This is where delicate cashmere meets hearty tradition, and all this for the whole family. The beautiful cardigans, pullovers and waistcoats tie in with typical Bavarian costumes with deliberately subtle details such as lace, decorated silver buttons and subtle cable knits. Simple colors and modern cuts give the pieces a contemporary touch - which should particularly convince those who have so far found little to like the all too traditional costume.
Highlight for women: A specially designed round neck jumper with a high waist that only reaches to the bow of the apron and creates a sensual dirndl décolleté with cashmere. White ruffle piping and traditional buttons complete this great design.
And after the party? While the dirndl has to hang in the closet until next year, Allude's capsule pieces can undoubtedly be worn away from beer mugs and beer tables.
Curious? From September 1st, the Autumn/Winter 2016/2017 Capsule Collection with a “Wiesn” theme will be available here in the Allude online store . Here we go!
